Free Resources
Part of my mission is to provide free resources for educators. Feel free to use and share all of the resources below.
Daily Work Canva Slides
Use daily work slides as a visual aid for warm ups, exit tickets, and directions for activities and assignments. Canva has a ton of interactive features such as a pop-up timer, magic shortcuts and Canva live for student input and classroom management. Click here to use the template and make it your own! Check out my Canva 101 series on TikTok and Instagram to learn more about how you can use daily slides in your class.
Get to Know Your Students with the 5 Song Challenge
The 5 song challenge is not your average icebreaker. Ask students to think about 5 songs they cannot live without. Students share their songs with classmates using inside/out circles. This is a great beginning of the year, and community building activity to get to know your students on a deeper level.
Free 11x17 Printable Poster
In case you have not already noticed, I LOVE Canva! One of my favorite things to do for fun is design custom classroom posters in Canva. If you have the ability to print on 11x17 paper you can print this at school. If you want to create your own custom classroom posters check out my tutorial on TikTok.
